Stream Reader is developed and published by Moon Publishing Media LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). We keep this simple: the app collects nothing, and our websites only see anonymous visit counts.

The Short Version

The Stream Reader App

Stream Reader has no user accounts, no login, and no backend servers. We do not collect names, email addresses, device identifiers, usage analytics, or any other personal information.

All text you add — typed, pasted, imported through the Share Extension, or saved to your library — is stored only on your device. This content never leaves your device. App settings (themes, fonts, reading speed) are stored the same way.

The app does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, or tracking SDKs, and does not track you across other apps or websites.

The app is designed to work fully offline and does not require an internet connection to function.

Our Websites

moonpublishingmedia.com and streamreader.app use Vercel Web Analytics, a cookie-free analytics tool. Visiting these websites necessarily means your browser sends a request to our server — that's how any website works — but we only see anonymous, aggregate data: things like page views, general location (country/region), and referring site. We do not use cookies, do not collect personal data, and do not use this data for tracking or advertising. Because no cookies are set and no personal data is collected, no consent banner is required under GDPR/ePrivacy.

This analytics data is used only to understand how many people visit our pages — for example, to measure whether outreach efforts are working — and is never sold or shared with third parties for advertising.

Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Data Retention and Deletion

Because all app data is stored locally on your device, you remain in full control of it. Deleting the app removes all associated local data. Website analytics data is aggregate and not tied to individual identities, so there's no personal data to request or delete.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
